After almost twelve interesting years as sole proprietor of a marketing and communication agency, it's time for something new. Effective January 11, 2024, the company UFS MarCom has been deleted from the commercial register. Thank you for your trust and the great collaboration! I would also like to say goodbye to the media and logistics community that I have been a part of since the 1980s. These were exciting and challenging years with many changes –from typewriters to computers, from telex to email, from print to social media, from freight forwarding to multimodal logistics. Call it progress. I think back with pleasure to many wonderful, productive and fun encounters as well as fruitful collaboration with colleagues, superiors, interview partners and customers, competitors and other members of this internationally broad-based media and logistics community. Dear friends, we will no longer meet at congresses, trade fairs, business talks and similar events, but may be on other occasions or on social media platforms. In future, as in the old days, I just want to work as a freelance journalist as much as I enjoy it and spend more time with my family.
